Cambodia Real Estate Magazine: The Non-Digital Details

On October 22 2016, Phnom Penh’s business community witnessed the launch of the second edition of the Cambodian Real Estate Magazine, celebrated with a huge networking party at the famous EPIC Club in Phnom Penh.

The quarterly magazine is an initiative of Realestate.com.kh, Cambodia’s foremost property portal, to help relay investor information, showcase the leading developments and expand it’s offline reach to a local market that still exhibits a taste for print media marketing.

The event was supported by 650 guests that hailed from various trailblazing local and international companies. That’s 150 more attendees than when the magazine launched in August 5, 2016 at the D22 Bar. This includes attendees from 7 leading law firms, 14 government bodies and agencies, 16 media platforms, 21 financial companies and banks, 37 developers, 51 real estate agencies and firms, and 60 construction and architecture experts.

The Guest of Honour for the night was His Excellency Mey Vann – Director General of Financial Industry at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The party was sponsored by partners like Ford, the Imperial Crown Condominium, Cellcard, The Piano Shop, Kilat Events, E-Design Photography, Image Printing, and BOSE.

Realestate.com.kh had increased production of the Cambodia Real Estate Magazine to 15,000 copies, being distributed to 800 key venues across Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Sihanoukville. These include showrooms, banks, business centers, embassies, restaurants, agencies, and top cafés in the country. These copies are available for free at any of the said locations. Realestate.com.kh also uses its portal and mailing list as an online distribution channel.

The third issue of the Cambodia Real Estate Magazine – along with its launch party – is set to be released in January of 2017. And they remain open for sponsorship's and advertisement opportunities.

The Cambodia Real Estate Magazine is a quarterly publication that was initially created to inform and help educate Cambodians about what’s currently happening in the real estate sector. The magazine started out with 10,000 printed copies distributed to only 500 establishments. But it is slowly gaining traction with the increase in interest and the distributed value.

This is complemented further by the online portal which has over 400 active agents and is 45,000 listings strong. Realestate.com.kh has also taken a step further into the real estate experience by offering innovative solutions like the 360 degree virtual tours and their professional walkthrough videos, available for developers, agents and landlords to showcase their hottest property online.

Both the magazine and the online portal have proven to be great success stories. But more than just spreading information, it also gives readers from all around the world a more tangible and hands-on real estate experience of ASEAN’s rising tiger economy, Cambodia.
